    Happy to provide some words to express my thanks for your input into our kayaking.

    You're in our family scrapbook on 2 counts:
    - In our 2 half-day sessions you convinced me that I really could paddle. Up till then I was sure I was a lost cause.

    - You gave my son his first taste of white water kayaking. The day was pitched perfectly and was a great start for him. He came away feeling very confident.

    I have no doubt the course was a major reason for his continued enthusiasm in the sport.

    Hi Dave,

    Just received your email about the new site, which looks great by the way.

    Paddled with Dave at Source last September and I would HIGHLY recommend his courses and expertise.

    My girlfriend and I had never been in a kayak before and Dave led us down the River Tay for a half day's paddling.

    He was extremely professional and skilled whilst being one of the friendliest and most upbeat people we have met.

    Will hopefully be joining him again this year to work on the foundation of skills we gained that day.

    Overall a great day with a very enthusiastic instructor. Not quite sure yet if i will progress the river kayak route though as loch / long distance might be more relevant to me. I wanted to see how i felt in a river kayak though as rivers fascinate me and this was an ideal introduction.

    Your way of teaching works for me; cerebral and practical -touches the spots i need for learning. The boys were terrifically enthused - they had a great day! and as parents it's hugely important for us to know you can make decisions about which bits of the river are safe -and which aren't as you did at grandtully, a very successful day - which left us itching to do more.

    Dave provided an awesome weeks paddling on some great rivers. Each day was completely different in its learning objectives and he managed to cater for a range of abilities and goals within our group-we'll definitely be back next year!

    Spent a lovely few days kayaking as part of a university group with Dave guiding & coaching. It was a fantastic experience which built up my paddling confidence massively - many thanks to Dave for being such an understanding and encouraging leader!

    Source Adventure are great, they pitched the level of coaching and guiding perfectly across what was a varied ability group. Everyone gained extensively from the week's paddling and the personalities of the instructors really brought out the best of our abilities in a beautiful part of Scotland!

    I've been out paddling with Source a few times now and have enjoyed every minute. The flexible approach means you can choose what sort of experience you're after and what level of coaching you'd like. Starting as a complete beginner I have gone from flat water loch kayaking on to experience a variety of river conditions and learnt many valuable skills. Dave is an excellent coach and I'd strongly recommend kayaking with Source to anyone wanting to have a first go or develop their skills.

    Yet another excellent course and another excellent weekend. Flexible and friendly approach suited too our groups needs meant that we all had a great time and cant wait to get out on to the water again.

    I have enjoyed the outings so much that a kayak is a definate purchase for this year!

    Would strongly recommend both Source and Dave to anyone looking for a fun, enjoyable and skill enhancing course set in beautiful locations.

    We had a great day yesterday with our instructors Dave and Ross. We were 10 kids aged 10-17 and 3 adults. Half day kayaking and half day canoeing. Source have good equipment and the instructors were great with the kids of all ages. Pretty good with the adults too!! All round a brilliant day in beautiful surroundings with good blokes. Ian

    A big thanks to Source. I booked a kayak trip with Dave in May. I had never been to Scotland before and the rain was a bit sparse. Dave pulled off a great trip down the Braan. It made my Scotland trip fulfilling, seeing it from the river.

    We had a wonderful day last week. We were a group of adults and children with abilities ranging from almost beginners to quite proficient. Dave and Ross managed to make us all feel we had achieved a lot. And we certainly had. We spent the half the day kayaking on Loch Tay; the other half canoeing on the River. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone, no matter the ability.
